The detailed polygons show a total of 35.4 ha containing critical habitat at Sidney Spit (3.7 ha) and Hook Spit (31.7 ha). The 1 km x 1 km UTM grid overlay shown on this figure is a standardized national grid system that indicates the general geographic area within which critical habitat is found in Canada. Areas outside of the shaded yellow polygons do not contain critical habitat.
