Fragrant popcornflower (Plagiobothrys figuratus) COSEWIC assessment and status report: chapter 12

Acknowledgements and Authorities Consulted

Mr. Allan Fletcher of Hornby Island kindly provided assistance in identifying the site at Whaling Station Bay where fragrant popcornflower was last photographed in 1968. Dr. Richard Martin is credited with rediscovering fragrant popcornflower at Hornby Island after it was thought this plant had been extirpated from Canada; thanks are due to him for relaying his find to other botanists and for providing important information about the site for this report. Funding for this report was provided by the B.C. Conservation Data Centre (B.C. Ministry of Sustainable Resource Management, now Ministry of Environment).
